Not much.

I'm starting to feel more English than American. Why you may ask? It's freezing and sweet tea is my drink of choice- hot sweet tea is my drink of choice, now. Like the English, with lemon. Today I woke up and it had snowed. Not a dumping, rather a dusting, but it snowed and was snowing when I woke up. I didn't go to school today because I have a stomach bug-or something, so I stayed at home. I watched Love Actually and it made me realize how close Christmas is!
Three weeks from today I will be with my mom and sister-then in paris, lady gaga, site seeing, then on our way home just in time for Christmas Eve. My time here has really flown by. Ive been here for a little over 3 months now. In some ways, I feel like it's been an eternity, and in others, 5 hours. After you've moved in with your host family for a week, you feel like you're already a part of the family. So when you think it's only been a month, you feel like you've been there for forever. But when you talk to your family, you feel like you saw them yesterday, or at least I do.
Yesterday was Thanksgiving. Although I was expecting to be homesick, and I think others were too, I wasn't. Most all my other exchange student-friends are celebrating Thanksgiving in one way or another. I'm celebrating it by explanation, that's all. I'm not exactly homesick I don't think, because here, it is not a holiday. People aren't all together with family, happy and holiday-like. So for me, it's just another day. Something that is making me laugh and think of home is my host sister. She has recently become obsessed with Mike Posner- who oddly went to Duke, the University of my favorite basketball team. Christmas is oddly close, and it's weird. I went to downtown Amiens on Wednesday and it was Christmas Centre. There were mini houses and lights all down CentreVille for Christmas and Christmas music blasting. It was wonderful! and really reminded me of Christmas. Next weekend, I'm going to my friend Sydney's for the weekend. I'm really excited. She's in my program too and we've gotten to be really good friends. Not much is going on here. But i'll be sure to update you if there is!

Soon-i hope!
Bailey
